Abstract:
Collaboration issues, financial hardships, lack of government support, lack of recognition are
some of the reasons that many artists are left behind in the Sri Lankan music industry while
some set of artists are lifted higher in the industry.
Currently, these artists use social media and advertising techniques to be discovered in the
industry but they are unsatisfied with those methods due to several reasons. Social media
platforms are not mainly designed for artist promotional activities, a set of artists have more
popularity than the rest in social media and advertising are one of the reasons out of many.
Therefore, the author initiated the project by intending to solve the artist issues by providing
one solution for the artists. The author’s aim is to analyse more on the problem domain and
design and develop a prototype solution that consists of collaboration, funding, hiring,
government support, and other features to cater to the requirements of the artists.
Apart from that, the author intends to test and evaluate the developed solution in order to verify
whether the solution has been eliminated the problem successfully"
