Abstract:
"
One of the major challenges faced by insurance companies in the present-day scenario
is Automobile Insurance Fraud. These scams are opportunistic or professional. Fraud
in Motor insurance is done by intentional deception or misrepresentation for gaining
some dishonorable benefit in the form of vehicle expenditures. Consumers are often
accustomed to getting these scams through damaged vehicle parts or by entering
incorrect information in the claim form.
The main purpose of this research project is to identify damaged vehicle parts using
image processing algorithms and to identify frauds in the acquisition of property by
identifying similar objects between two flipped images.
The aim is to identify fraudulent claims to target audiences.
