| dc.description.abstract | " The study conducted addresses the impact of the e-learning curriculum challenges on the academic performance of undergraduate students in Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT). The analysis was conducted based on quantitative data and qualitative data obtained through primary research by collecting data from 116 undergraduate students at IIT who responded to the online questionnaire and interviews conducted with 4 undergraduate students and 1 academic lecturer at IIT. The findings formulated according to each objective revealed that students of IIT find online learning to be more challenging than traditional learning modalities due to various challenges identified in relation to technology, motivation, communication with lecturers and peers, content delivery, online assessments and the overall learning effectiveness. It was proved through theoretical concepts and data findings on how these challenges have a significant impact on the academic performance of students. Further, recommendations for IIT on restructuring the online learning process, utilizing different content models and adopting new practices to enhance the value gained in the e-learning curriculum for high academic performance are provided" | en_US |
