Abstract:
"In Sri Lanka, volleyball is considering as the national sports. But the most famous sport in the country is cricket. The popular Sri Lankan cricket game recently suffered a setback. There, the blame was especially placed on the choices made by the selection committee. At the same time, the shortcomings of Sri Lanka's domestic cricket structure became apparent. Thus, the problem that arises here is the accuracy of the domestic cricket format in Sri Lanka and whether the bowlers who perform properly can enter the national team.
As a solution to that problem, the content system is created here. There, the statistics containing the skills of the bowlers are entered into the system. According to the data entered in this way, the player will be classified. Those categories are, Wicket taking bowler, Economical bowler, Consistent performer, Big wicket taker and short performer. In this way, the players are categorised by several calculations. By using the Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) algorithm the process is happening. In each and every category, the bowlers getting their points according to the Deep Performance Index. In addition to that, there is a feature to predict the bowlers performances in the future. It will predict that how many wickets will be taken by the bowler in future matches. And also, the feature called “Best Bowlers” will select the best bowlers for the selected pitch.
As the Test result, the bowlers are ranking according to the Deep Performance Index points system. The users will able to see the best bowlers each and every category and the overall best bowlers among every bowler. This approach is a new approach to the problem domain which can be upgrade the bowlers to the national level through an unbiased process."
