Abstract:
"One of the world's attractive tourist destinations is in Sri Lanka. From January till the
present in 2024, more than 1.5 million foreign visitors have come to Sri Lanka. As of
August 2023, Tourism industry in Sri Lanka is developing day by day. foreign tourists are
coming to Sri Lanka without using travel agency because of additional cost so tourist is
struggling manage travel location and plan their trip. Other thing is there are many hidden
beautiful locations in Sri Lanka that have low tourist attraction and many local and foreign
tourists missed these locations.
Considering these facts, it is important to implement a solution for the tourists visited in.
Sri Lanka. The project aimed was to revolutionize the travel planning experience for the
tourists visit in Sri Lanka by introducing a user-friendly web-based application. The
primary objective of the project is to streamline the trip planning process, discover hidden
destinations and enhance their overall travel experience. This final report details the web
application's thorough development, deployment, and evaluation. The project starts with a
analysis of the key problems in Sri Lanka tourist industry. The web application offers
tourists to search locations, generate trip plans, find hidden locations and Machin Learning
model for hotel suggestions. This “Travel Planner” application will undergo evaluation,
aiming to empower tourists to commence memorable and fulfilling journeys"
