Abstract:
In order to address the widespread problem of occupational stress among IT workers in Sri Lanka, this research project aims to establish a web-based platform for stress evaluation and management in addition to identifying important elements contributing to stress levels. The research explores the underlying factors that contribute to stress, such as excessive workloads, mentally taxing assignments, tense deadlines, inadequate work-life balance, and a lack of organizational support. The importance of managing stress for improving worker wellbeing and organizational effectiveness is also covered.The project's scope is concentrated on IT professionals in Sri Lanka's IT sector, with the goal of comprehending their pressures and creating workable solutions. Comprehensive research, stress domain analysis, requirements elicitation via surveys and interviews, conceptual model design, prototype development, and industry expert validation are all included in the objectives.In the end, the study helps create a strong detection stress evaluation and mitigation tool that is advantageous to companies and employees alike. It gives employees the ability to efficiently track and reduce their stress levels while giving management data-driven insights for well-informed decision-making. The goal of the research findings is to enhance overall well-being, productivity, and job satisfaction in Sri Lanka's IT industry.
