Abstract:
The SriLankaRecruit project aims to address the lack of transparency and weaknesses in existing recruitment systems prevalent in various companies. The motivation behind this project arises from personal experiences and observations of highly skilled and talented individuals being rejected for job opportunities due to flaws in the recruitment process. The project's main objective is to create a user-friendly, transparent, and efficient job search platform that connects job seekers with relevant job opportunities and empowers employers to attract top talent. This report presents the detailed development and implementation of the SriLankaRecruit application, which includes features like company portfolios, and a mobile-responsive interface. The requirements analysis, system design, and testing processes are described, highlighting the use of various technologies and libraries. The report also discusses the ethical and legal aspects considered during the project's execution.
