Abstract:
In today's dynamic retail landscape, long queues and waiting times have become deterrents for customers, impacting sales and inventory management. This project addresses these challenges by proposing a Virtual Fitting Room System leveraging augmented reality and artificial intelligence. The system allows customers to virtually try on clothing, revolutionising the shopping experience. Through a user-friendly interface and interactive functionalities, consumers can view themselves in various outfits on a screen. The development combines Python Flask and HTML, CSS, JavaScript for the back end and front end respectively, with a dataset of client images and apparel for algorithm testing. The system not only reduces the need for physical fitting rooms but also offers shopkeepers relief from constant inventory management efforts. Overall, this project offers an innovative solution to optimise retail operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
