TAOTIE: An Automated Approach for Removing Feature Flags in TypeScript Codebases

Abstract

To design, build, and test a tool that automates the removal of feature flags from TypeScript codebases with little human interaction. The research aim is to enhance the present feature flag-based development process and reduce the technological debt incurred by the industry's current approach.
