Abstract:
Finance is a one of imperative requirement of people. Since the business requirements are
growing with the new technology, most of the basic components are being automated
presently. But when it comes to Sri Lanka, yet there are many criteria that need to be
accompany with trending technologies. There are many government, semi-government,
private banks and finance companies all over the country. But there is a gap on online
banking and leasing systems. People cannot calculate their credit facility as well as know
about the documents and requirement they should provide unless they visit to a branch.
The time taken for requesting the loan facility as well as making the documents ready
will be take few days.
There is no any vehicle hub system to Sri Lanka. There are few web applications in order
for the search of details. But when it comes to the Asian cars, there is no appropriate
application as a car hub system. Although people have an idea of vehicle details but there
is no any proper understanding on the most suitable vehicle for their purpose. And
another important factor that identified is the most people looking for the reviews and
videos of other vehicle users. But they have no proper media to get the all information.
Based on the questioners and the surveys conducted, this project aims to deliver a quality
IT based solution for the users which address the user’s difficulties. Findings for the
effective IT solution decided through the interviews, focused group discussions,
questioners with online finance related parties on Sri Lankan context. In order to build a
conceptual framework for the identified problem, “Autofin” mobile application was
formulated. Through the finance experts in the current business evaluated on the
“Autofin” with a self evaluation and end users were highly rated on the mobile
application. This mobile application will lead Sri Lankan to evaluate the credit eligibility
promptly and have a car hub within the finger tips.
