Skin Disease Diagnostic and Solutions System

Abstract

The use of Computer Vison technology in automated solutions in medical field is becoming more and more popular. Most of them are used to diagnose the cancer. But neither of the developed software or ideas are focuses on identifying exact stage the chronic skin diseases like Acne and provide effective solutions to cure the problem. The purpose of Skin Disease Diagnostic and Solution System is to introduce an effective way to identify exact stage of the chronic skin diseases. There for author decided to develop a system which help acne suffers to identify their exact stage of the skin problem and provide treatments to identified stage. The proposed solution uses an input image from the user to predict the exact stage of the acne. System pre-process and extract the features through an image processing module and then the extracted features are fed to the classification algorithm to predict the exact stage of the skin disease. The predicted stage with the treatments plans are displayed using the User Interface.
