| dc.description.abstract | " Hearing aids which satisfy the patients visually increase the accuracy of gaining knowledge. Even though patients with hearing disability uses hearing aids, that will not help them to restore their hearing capability. Patient with total inability to hear will not be able to visualize when he/she communicates. This leads to improper conversation. Students with the same situation will not be able to higher their literacy level. According to studies understanding and engaging in conversations has been the biggest struggle faced by hearing impaired individuals. Conversations, listening and discussing are one of the main aspects of conducting human interaction. Having an aid satisfying all the above needs will help the patients not only to develop their literacy but also that will help them to get work better than what they are doing currently. AugAssist becomes a conversation assistant for total hearing-impaired patients. Making their communication easy." | en_US |
