dc.description.abstract | " The Smart Attendance system is a solution proposed by the author in order to capture the attendance of the students in a class by using computer vision Since using the conventional methods of capturing attendance could be time wasting and at times proven to be quite inaccurate. To achieve the solution a face recognition model is used to identify the dataset of the students and identify the students in real time and providing the timestamp of the detection as well in a separate sheet for tracking the attendance. This was implemented using OpenCV which allows to use computer vision based libraries to be used in face recognition activities efficiently. This system was tested and then evaluated by Technical experts and Domain experts as well to get proper feedback and criticism on the proposed functionalities" | en_US |
