dc.description.abstract |
Automation Testing in Web GUI plays a crucial role in the industry when it comes to delivering a defect free product. Since Automation scripts are written in Strongly typed languages, the testers take a considerable amount of time to fulfill this task. This research was carried out to fulfill the gap of complex automation scripts which are written in order to execute web GUI automations. The solution was to develop a system to cater to the QA engineers to input automation scripts which are human understandable. The inputs will be very much similar to that of a written language in English. This system uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) to process the texts that the user inputs and processes it to the test framework in order to automate it to the browser by extracting the relevant parameters that are extracted from the inputs by the tester. This system called Test Hat not only reduces the time and the lines of code written, but also reduces the chance of making programming errors. Although this system plays an important role in automating the web browser it does not replace the human interaction to the system when it comes to verification. |
