dc.description.abstract The revolution in Information technology and the ease of access to the internet has led us humans to a different lifestyle today. The effect of technology in the recruiting industry has made applying for a job at their fingertips! But as we all know validating information put to a resume such as educational qualifications & work experiences have been a troublesome process, where the employer has to get down the original transcripts such as a degree/ diploma and verify its legitimacy, even these certificates and transcripts can be tampered in order to boost individual’s skills. Therefore, the only way to validate these is to contact the responsible authority (university/ workplace) and get it validated. As we all know this is a very time consuming process and if the university doesn’t have a proper record keeping system or if the records are tampered the verification would be unsuccessful. Therefore, it is necessary to come up with a proper record system where the information put cannot be tampered and the employer must be able to do the validation without the use of any third-party services. In order to address this problem, the research targets on the Blockchain technology and how it can be used to build an anti-forged mechanism in order to store educational records thus, stepping up the validation process of a resume. en_US
