Travel Now: A system to carpool passengers and items

Abstract

Carpooling is an essential travel and transport service in the present world due to many reasons. With the globalization, the need of traveling has become a major impact in day today life. Trafficking due to the increment of the number of vehicles, global warming as high consumption of fuel, risks of traveling long distance due to social reasons, expensive and risky item transport facility services available are some of the the main problem domains which discovered to have a accurate carpooling service. Many people travel a long distance alone in their own vehicles hence they can use the system to have a companion to travel with or an item to transport to a specific destination. The application is designed to be scalable, extensible, highly available and with a good performance. The system is designed with powerful JavaScript framework react-native. And other backend servers like Firebase and google API services. The system is compatible for cross platform devices (both android and IOS based devices).
