dc.description.abstract This research presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based Vehicular Heat Stroke Prevention System aimed at preventing heat-related injuries and fatalities, particularly among children and pets left inside parked vehicles. Rising global temperatures and increased vehicle usage have made vehicular heat stroke a critical safety concern, as internal vehicle temperatures can rise rapidly even within a short time period. The proposed system continuously monitors temperature and humidity levels inside the vehicle using IoT sensors. When the internal environment exceeds predefined safe thresholds, the system triggers real-time alerts to vehicle owners through a mobile-based application. If the situation persists, escalation mechanisms such as audible alarms and remote notifications are activated to ensure timely intervention. The system leverages microcontrollers and wireless communication technologies to transmit sensor data efficiently to the mobile application, enabling users to monitor conditions remotely. The methodology includes hardware integration, sensor calibration, mobile application development, and cloud-based data handling to ensure reliable performance. The system also maintains historical data records, allowing users to analyze environmental patterns and improve preventive measures. Testing and evaluation demonstrate that the system responds promptly to unsafe temperature conditions, reducing the risk of heat stroke incidents. This project contributes a cost-effective, scalable, and user-friendly solution that enhances vehicle safety by combining IoT technology with real-time monitoring and alert mechanisms. The proposed system has the potential to significantly reduce heat-related accidents and can be extended in the future with advanced features such as GPS tracking, automated emergency notifications, and AI-based risk prediction. en_US
