The interrogation of AI in the legal sector has led to the creation of AI chat bots that provide automated help for legal questions. This research focuses on developing a chatbot to Sri Lankan law based on a specific domain. Using natural language processing, the chatbot interprets legal queries and offers relevant responses based on Sri Lankan legal frameworks. The research follows a structured approach, including data collection from legal resources, model training with fine-tuned AI architecture, and evaluation through expert validation and user testing. The research highlights several challenges, such as the complexity of legal language, evolving legal frameworks, and user trust issues. These were tackled through continuous model improvements and iterative feedback. The system was evaluated for accuracy, efficiency, and usability, showing promise as a reliable legal assistant. Future improvements included multilingual support, document interaction, and user authentication for personal services. This project contributes to the evolving landscape of AI-driven legal assistance and sets a foundation for further developments in legal technology. |
