dc.description.abstract "The research addresses vulnerabilities in email authentication protocols such as the Sender Policy Framework, DomainKeys Identified Mail, and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance, which are exploited for phishing attacks. Despite their use, these protocols can be manipulated, leading to data breaches and loss of trust. Attackers spoof trusted domains to bypass security which even current email security protocols correctly configure, allowing deceptive emails through. The study highlights the need for an advanced anti-phishing protocol within a layered defense architecture to enhance email security against evolving threats. " en_US
