dc.description.abstract "Big Data is a transformative tool used in life enhancement by urban analytics in smart city transformation. Traffic management, Energy consumption, public safety & Improvement planning are considered as key aspects of smart city transformation which comes to play with big data analytics. Resource allocation, decision making, land use & infrastructure demand are the main concepts discussed in urban planning, also the use of real time data, motion sensors, cameras & other technological devices on which the traffic management depends has been highlighted and usage pattern identification & optimization through big data is also considered. Importance of predictive analytics through big data for public safety has been described in this paper along with crime hotspots identification & enhancing response time for emergencies. An application through case studies is developed and demonstrated through big data analysis for improvement and transformation of smart cities for sustainable urban development." en_US
