Smart License Wallet Digitalization of Physical Drivers License Card

Abstract

"The objective of the Smart License Wallet initiative is to transform the administration of driver's licenses in Sri Lanka by creating a secure and user-friendly digital platform. This project suggests a new way to address the difficulties experienced by drivers caused by the use of physical licenses and manual fine payments. The proposed solution utilizes mobile technology, artificial intelligence, and secure payment systems. Smart License Wallet provides consumers with the convenience of accessing, updating, and confirming their licenses at any time and from any location by digitizing driver's licenses and integrating them into a mobile application. The project utilizes cutting-edge technology, including optical character recognition (OCR) and artificial intelligence (AI), to securely verify identities and guarantee the legitimacy of digital licenses. In addition, the incorporation of online fine payment services simplifies the process of settling fines, thereby decreasing administrative obligations for both users and authorities. The creation of the Smart License Wallet platform was informed by analyzing user preferences, security concerns, and payment preferences. This analysis was conducted through a rigorous requirement elicitation process that included questionnaires and a literature review. The project conforms to industry norms and optimal methodologies to guarantee data confidentiality, system dependability, and user contentment. The Smart License Wallet project is a substantial advancement in the modernization of driver's license administration in Sri Lanka. It provides a secure, efficient, and user-focused solution that improves convenience for drivers and encourages road safety. "
