CreatorChain A Blockchain Based Copyrights Management System

Abstract

The exponential increase in digital content on social media platforms has naturally led to an increase in copyright infringement and robust methods for managing and protecting digital rights is essential. This project called "CreatorChain- A Blockchain Based Copyrights Management System" aims to deliver a decentralized and secure efficient copyright management system using blockchain technology. This is based on the Solana blockchain and consists of perceptual hashing for photo verification and IPFS for decentralized storage. Through smart contracts, one can automate copyright transactions, reporting and infringement detection. This system, therefore, showcases the potential blockchain has in solving the issues involved in digital rights management (the demonstration of which is a scalable and cost-effective secure solution with a higher transparency to all stakeholders).
