Orphanage Management System using Blockchain

Abstract

"Orphanages worldwide are managing a rising number of orphans, mainly because of global pandemics like COVID-19. Current manual and paper-based orphanage management processes suffer from inefficiencies, a lack of transparency in donations, and data security concerns. Therefore, there is a need for a more organized, streamlined, and transparent orphanage management system that can perform current manual administration work more efficiently and ensure donation transparency. This research's main purpose is to revolutionize orphanage operations by automating tasks like orphan registrations, donation management, and financial tracking. Additionally, the integration of blockchain technology ensures transparency in donation allocation, overcoming the current major concern in the donation process. In addition, since orphanages deal with personal and sensitive information, the research aims to mitigate the risks associated with physical file systems and unauthorized access by transitioning to a secure digital platform. In conclusion, this research strives to develop a comprehensive orphanage management system that enhances operational efficiency, guarantees data privacy, facilitates communication, and ensures donation transparency. The ultimate goal is to create a digital solution that not only addresses current challenges but also adapts to the evolving needs of orphanages and donors in a rapidly changing world."
