dc.description.abstract In modern storytelling, the adaptation of written content into audio, particularly audio books, remains a complex and often manual process. The production of immersive audio books poses multiple challenges compared to traditional ones due to additional elements like an audio script, sound effects, music, and voice actors. Challenges range from creating impactful audio scripts which is a time-consuming and creative process, especially when adapting from existing books to incorporating essential sound elements which demands precise planning and implementation by sound designers. While these steps can be manual, automation or technical tools can simplify the otherwise complex process of crafting immersive audio experiences. en_US
