dc.description.abstract "Education Ministry statistical data reflects the fact that tuition-based lessons are employed across the board in the teaching network of Sri Lanka, with 70% of students participating in these classes. The induction of this pattern is therefore a result of the rivalry nature of the academic industry characterized by the belief that tuition fees are the only way to make academic success. Nevertheless, many parents and families notice that they have trouble with making an optimal choice among various tuition classes because of the many obstacles such as transport issues, the problem of time management, and unshifted criteria for ranking tuition classes and instructors. To overcome the prevailing issues, the friend sharing system is suggested for the students of Sri Lanka online classes. It does so by suggesting student’s specific directions enabling them to get all the necessary information the student needs to sit for their next test. Moreover, the system aims at encouraging teachers to do some marketing their classes and this is to lead to revolutionary changes in the education system of Sri Lanka. The proposed system tends to solve difficulties parents and learners face in finding appropriate tutoring sessions by a unified portal which can supply these programs and their teachers. The system will become smarter to provide recommendations to suit the needs, likes and ambitions of individual, opening the way for big data. By taking students' general health and psychological state into consideration and guiding them to the best tuition choices to take, the system is created to serve their best interests. The approach follows up on the limitations of the current tuition practices where learning is mostly reliant on verbal explanations thus not effective enough in terms developing thinking and problem-solving skills. Our continuum targets at supporting students in their career and further studies beyond examinations that are not just the outcomes of memorization and understanding. In the light of that, the Cambodian online class recommendations engine is among the key initiatives rolled out to boost access to quality education in Sri Lanka. The system will be useful for the country's educational system helping students and parents to gather all the necessary information make careful tuition class-decisions as well as support quality teaching styles promotion.
