dc.description.abstract "The ""Medi Tracks Pro"" is an modern Electronic Health Records (EHR) system aimed at transforming the way health care is managed in Sri Lanka not only for private medical institutions but also for government healthcare facilities. As the country moves forward to digital health care, such a situation requires systems and able bodied enough to man the data of patients with utmost security and an easy reach. The “Medi Tracks Pro” meets these demands by combining a number of advanced features like real time OTP based record access with comprehensive data analytics and user centric design in this light, it stands out as a unique powerful tool within the health care industry. The endeavor comprised vast collection of user needs through surveys and interviews which is followed by consultations with healthcare practitioners to make sure that the system matches the actual user needs. The software development adhered to Rational Unified Process (RUP) a disciplined approach towards software engineering, while at the same time incorporating Agile methodologies for flexible and iterative project management this ensured a well structured yet adaptive ""Medi Tracks Pro"" throughout its developmental cycle. Among other features, ""Medi Tracks Pro"" incorporates prescription management, syncing with pharmacies and lab result integration. These features are purposely included in order to improve the user's experience while delivering seamless healthcare services. The system was piloted among medical professionals and patients, where it showed notable enhancements in operational efficiency as well as user satisfaction. The conclusion of this thesis is that ""Medi Tracks Pro"" was a success. After we implement it, we'll talk about what we learned from it both in terms of knowledge and skills and our recommendations for how we can improve in the future. The positive feedback received from the initial users plus expert stakeholders highlights the potential for ""Medi Tracks Pro"" to be a significant part of Sri Lanka's healthcare system (with more development to come and its alignment with national health programs).
