"Est Cheque" To overcome the limitations of using traditional paper cheque process by providing an IIT solution through mobile platform for banking industry and their customers

Abstract

Across the world every single task in this era has been in the digital version. All of the organisations are shifting in to the digitalisation, since it is the most acceptable mode by the new generation due to the change in life style and the culture of the new era. Finally, as a result, every nation and its organisations are converting and already have changed to digitalised versions of their activities identifying the inconvenience faced in old traditional ways. In the Sri Lankan Economy, it is quite identified that in the banking sector required the need of the change in the cheque clearing process. Therefore, by proper identification and in depth study of this issue, a new version of digitalised cheque was presented and developed as an ideology to come across the time-consuming factor in the traditional cheque clearing system. Many methodologies, such as primary data and secondary research study was conducted and questionnaires were made and issued to the target group via social media and email to get their views and suggestions and also the inconvenience faced by them due to the traditional cheque clearing system. The conclusion on this was that they were welcoming the new digitalised version of cheque.
