dc.description.abstract "Cricket is a globally beloved sport, boasting a vast and passionate following. Every aspiring cricket player aspires to execute their shots flawlessly, with precision and finesse. The importance of maintaining proper posture during cricket practice cannot be overstated, as it directly influences a player's performance and technical skills. However, practicing cricket shots in solitude can present a multitude of challenges, demanding a high degree of self-discipline and motivation. One of the primary difficulties when practicing cricket alone is the absence of immediate feedback and guidance. Without a coach or friend to observe and provide constructive input on their technique, players may struggle to identify and rectify mistakes. This can inadvertently lead to the development of poor habits and incorrect techniques that can be challenging to amend later on. In this groundbreaking research, the author leveraged cutting-edge pose estimation algorithms, OpenCV, and Mediapipe to accurately detect real-time key points in a player's body as they execute a cricket shot. By meticulously analyzing these key points during the three critical phases of practicing cricket shots, the system can promptly identify erroneous body positions and angles. It then delivers real-time feedback to the player, guiding them on how to adjust their posture for optimal performance. This innovative system holds the potential to serve as an invaluable training tool for both amateur and professional cricket players, empowering them to hone their skills and achieve remarkable results on the field. The evaluation phase of this project involved input from a diverse range of stakeholders, including domain experts, software engineers, and everyday end users. This collaborative effort was pivotal in discerning the project's strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. The domain experts contributed their specialized knowledge, offering insights into the project's technical aspects, while software engineers provided valuable suggestions for enhancing the development process. The end users, who approach the project from a non-technical standpoint, contributed feedback regarding usability and functionality, ensuring a well-rounded perspective. Through this multifaceted approach, the author has gained a comprehensive understanding of the project's evolution and its potential for future enhancements. This research exemplifies the fusion of technical innovation and practical application in the world of cricket, promising to shape the future of cricket training and performance." en_US
