Online Bus Ticketing and Tracking System

Abstract

"Public transportation systems play a major role in every aspect of life. It has a greater impact on the economic development of the country. In Sri Lanka, there are two main roles in the transportation system in day-to-day life. The first is a train, and the second is a bus. In Sri Lanka, there are many options for train ticket booking systems and tracking system options for customers. In Sri Lanka, there are no ticket booking options for bus users. Implementing an online bus booking and tracking system for Sri Lankan bus users is the solution. Tracking, monitoring, scheduling, booking, and alert services are the major challenges faced by this system. This project aims to automate the services of the system that can provide the real-time tracking experience of public transport buses and online bus ticket reservations for all bus users."
