Transliteration converts words from one language or alphabet into another with similar-sounding letters and differing characters, it plays a crucial role in multilingual communication and information processing. In this abstract, we present a hybrid approach to transliterating Romanized Tamil to Tamil script, aiming to bridge the gap between different writing systems and facilitate accurate representation of Tamil language content. Existing transliteration methods for Tamil often face challenges due to the complex phonetic nature of the language and the inherent ambiguities present in Romanization schemes. To deal with these problems, the author suggests a hybrid approach that combines specific rules and statistical techniques, leveraging the strengths of both methodologies. The importance of this work rests in the improvement of programs that process Tamil, including machine translation and natural language operation. By enabling accurated , reliable Romanized Tamil to Tamil transliteration, our hybrid approach opens doors to enhanced cross-linguistic communication and effective Tamil content processing. |
