dc.description.abstract According a research done in year 2013, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has found out that approximately 50% of food allergies among children has increased between the periods of 1997-2012. Each day the number of people with food allergies increase, with a cure yet to be found. Researchers are trying to discover why food allergies are on the rise in developed countries worldwide, and to learn more about the impact of the disease in developing nations. More than 17 million Europeans have a food allergy, and hospital admissions for severe reactions in children have risen seven-fold over the past decade, according to the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). In the proposed system the user will register on the system the allergies he/she has and once the app is used based on the user’s location, which shall be ascertained via GPS, the system will provide few restaurants where he/she can select to dine in and once the restaurant is chosen, a customized menu will be prompted using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to the user. en_US
