ASSISTME : Exploratory research on text analytics and forming a Mobile Personal Assistive Application which Analyses emails and automatically generate To-Do lists

Abstract

Lives of people in the current world are complicated and busy. Balancing both professional and personal lives without any conflict is not an easy task at all. Worldwide email usage keeps on developing at a sound pace. Most of the professionals do their profession related communications via emails and the use of emails keeps on observing solid use in the business world, and in addition among consumers. The number of email consumers keeps on growing mainly because of its use of notifications. As per the present conduct of peoples' busy ways of life, these are some of the fundamental problems that they are encountering, such as it’s hard to make to-do lists accurately, professionals finding it had to adhere to schedules, reading emails leading professionals to have less productivity in both work and private life and the challenge of balancing both personal and professional life. There isn’t any platform that solves the above mentioned issues in a simple; effective and productive way. The project researches about the text analytics; email content analysis, which helps to extract tasks(to-dos) from the emails. An advancement of industry overviews by means of questionnaires and interviews were directed to check the gumption of these factors, and the outcomes were inspected to create functional and non-functional requirements and compose. The project investigates, outlines, develops and evaluates the IT solution. Stakeholders can make use of the proposed solution to overcome the issues and barriers. The project was accomplished under directed software development approaches, project management etc. The IT arrangement was assessed by professionals, IT experts within the educational and industrial areas to check the achievement of the project and was assessed and recognized.
