Grainport provides the ultimate solution to many major problems faced in the Supply and Demand management of rice in Sri Lanka. The primary objective of this latest ICT innovation is to make sure the Supply and Demand of rice in Sri Lanka is carried out in a much more orderly manner by making sure there is no shortage or excess amount of rice in Sri Lanka. This will provide a lot of benefits to the farming Communities and the Consumers. Also, the system will act as a Decision Support System for the Government. Using the latest Artificial Intelligence technologies, the system will predict the exact quantity of Rice to be imported along with the best time to import in order to make sure there is no shortage of rice in the country. The system’s real time updating database will help the farmers and the government officials to monitor the stocks in the country. |
