Risk Prediction System for Heart Diseases using Data Mining

Abstract

The number of internet users are increasing rapidly all around the world. And even people are getting use to rely on the internet in their special needs too. In a national survey conducted by the Pew Internet Project found that 72% of the internet users in United States have searched for health related information. People tend to post their health related problems in various kinds of healthcare forums, seeking answers for their symptoms on several diseases. And also every person nowadays work with computers for several hours continuously and the problem is that they don’t have time for taking care of themselves either. As of the harsh schedules and consuming a lot of junk food, this affects the health of the people specially the heart. So in this project a risk prediction system for heart disease is developed using data mining technique which is k means clustering algorithm
