dc.description.abstract "Across the time period, Natural Language Processing has helped immensely in many tasks with regards to languages like English. In Sri Lanka the main language that is used here is Sinhala, Unlike English the Sinhala language doesn’t have many datasets or any pretrained models. The proposed solution is all about how deep learning can be applied for Sinhala Machine Comprehension. In this project, transformer models were used for the machine comprehension system. Sinhala articles from Wikipedia was also used in creating datasets." en_US
