"&#13;
It is known that money is a common factor for all humans. Through past research&#13;
conducted by various authors, it has been identified that money causes financial stress &#13;
to individuals. Based on the results derived from the survey, revel that financially &#13;
stressed employees cause an adverse effect in the workplace as they have low &#13;
productivity. Moreover, financially stressed employees are observed to allocate work &#13;
hours on rectifying financial issues or in certain scenarios, these individuals are &#13;
observed to have physical and psychological health issues. Finally, the employers will &#13;
have to face increased costs based on employee turnover, loss of productivity and &#13;
increase in health care benefit claims.&#13;
The research was conducted to evaluate the above-mentioned clause in the IT sector in &#13;
Colombo Sri Lanka. The said industry is focused as this is one of the highest income generating industries in Sri Lanka. Further, most of the workforce comprised of &#13;
software engineers, which is believed for the said category of employees to have the &#13;
minimum opportunity of gain knowledge on finance knowledge. As a result of this, the &#13;
existence of the proposed issue among these individuals is high. Due to the &#13;
unavailability of reliable information on the total number of software engineers in &#13;
Colombo, the researcher followed a random sampling methodology to extract data into &#13;
the published questionnaire. &#13;
In relation to information derived from the analysis explicit that all employees are &#13;
stressed over their financial management. Further, out of proposed independent &#13;
variables, the results represent that most employees are stressed due to financial &#13;
obligations. Further, employees who have gained knowledge on financial management &#13;
have a higher financial literacy rate which felicitates to have reduced stress levels which &#13;
ultimately increase the productivity of the same person. Finally, the research proposes &#13;
counselling to be a relief for people who have personal financial stress. Further, &#13;
applicable recommendations and remedial actions for future research are listed at the &#13;
end of the project."

The higher education sector is considered one of the most challenging fields in the &#13;
world. This is owing to fact that there are many universities in the nation which &#13;
compete with each other to recruit more students; especially private universities. In &#13;
the meantime, social media plays a major role in the student recruitment process as &#13;
the growth of social media generates new opportunities as well as challenges for &#13;
student recruitment. Nowadays people are actively engaged in social media whether &#13;
it be Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, and other platforms. All individuals can be &#13;
categorized as daily users of one or more of these social media platforms. Due to this &#13;
fact, private universities consider this as an opportunity and create new &#13;
communication channels for the process of student recruitment and retention. This &#13;
study is to determine and analyses the impact of social media marketing in the student &#13;
recruitment process of private universities and provide recommendations to improve &#13;
the marketing and sales strategies for undergraduate programs. Approximately 107 &#13;
respondents participated in the quantitative research which was conducted as an &#13;
online questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed through the SPSS statistical &#13;
tool in an effective way. Based on the literature review the information awareness and &#13;
engagement are the two main factors influencing social media marketing in student &#13;
recruitment. The majority of respondents responded that Facebook is the most &#13;
appropriate and effective social media platform. This research states that Facebook is &#13;
considered an effective platform therefore advertising more on Facebook creates more &#13;
awareness for the universities."

dominant the online market. Social media marketing has become a new trend to the world and &#13;
people have started purchase through social media platforms. To be succeed online businesses are &#13;
now emerging celebrity endorsement with social media to reach to the new customers and repeat &#13;
sales. This paper is to identify impact of celebrity endorsement through social media channels on &#13;
consumer purchasing intentions in Sri Lankan fashion industry. This topic examined through a &#13;
mixed method and deductive approach and the secondary data is supported through journals, &#13;
textbooks, online publications, and background knowledge of the study context. Primary data is &#13;
obtained through a data collection to analyze and few interviews conducted to support the &#13;
discussions. The outcome of the study shows that how the celebrity attributes impact on perceived &#13;
customer purchasing decisions through a hypothesis analysis. Finally, the research concludes with &#13;
the recommendations to the future studies to enhance the research objectives broadly and &#13;
businesses to succeed in the online market."

generally used to generate organic traffic and increases online brand awareness. Online brand &#13;
awareness means the identification and association of a potential consumer towards online &#13;
products and services. This paper presents the effect of SEO in creating brand awareness in the &#13;
private education institutes in Sri Lanka. Private educational institutions are always looking for &#13;
various methods to establish their brand. This research questionnaire has been used to collect the &#13;
data in the survey. According to the findings, there is an important relationship between search &#13;
engine optimization and brand awareness of private education institutes. The paper contributes to &#13;
finding out the effectiveness of search engine optimization in terms of creating brand awareness &#13;
